Sebastian Stan Plays Love Interest To Both Natalie Portman And Mila Kunis In 'Black Swan'

One of the films we're most excited for this year is Darren Aronofsky's "Black Swan," especially considering its starring two of our favorite leading ladies,  Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis  (who may or may not get involved onscreen!). But "Black Swan" is also  starring one of the luckiest men in Hollywood right now,  Sebastian Stan.


There little information known about Sebastian's character (he doesn't even have a name on IMDB). So when MTV got a chance to chat with him recently (yeah, we can talk about his questionable hair do in the video at a later point in time), he was willing to share some details on his character. Unfortunately, he went about it in a very roundabout way.

"It's kind of like your guy that if you go into a Manhattan bar on a Friday night, and you see a couple of guys and they had like maybe long weeks, and then they go out and they're hoping to have a night or whatever and they end up like stumbling into a crazy storyline between two girls," he explained about his character.

He added that he and the other guys his characters are friends with "kind of get wrapped up in it for a while," and that "technically" he is one of the romantic interests for Natalie Portman's and Mila Kunis' characters.

Sebastian shot "Black Swan" for about two weeks back in December and called it a "really unique experience." We're sure it was a bit different than working on "Gossip Girl," and will definitely be a lot different than working on the set of "Captain America."

"Black Swan" tells the story of one veteran New York City ballerina named Nina (Natalie) who is tormented by a rival named Lilly (Mila) who may or may not be a figment of her imagination.

The future holds more myth-based tales of the past

If gods, monsters and he-men in short skirts get your pulse racing, prepare for an Olympian-size rush of mythological action at the multiplex. USA TODAY highlights some of the legendary titles — from lore-inspired sorcery to gore-filled spectacles — that will be released this year and beyond.

This is a Marvel comic-book version of Norse lore as the hammer-wielding mighty Thor (Australian actor Chris Hemsworth) is banished to Earth by father Odin (Anthony Hopkins) after causing an ancient conflict to re-ignite on Asgard, home of the Viking gods. He falls for a mortal scientist (Natalie Portman) and is forced to take action when wicked brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston) threatens mankind. Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, says the adventure, directed by Kenneth Branagh, is derived from the hero myth shared by all cultures. "Whether it's Theseus or Spider-man," he says, "the hero's journey is universal."

David Gordon Green Says 'Your Highness' Was His Toughest Film To Shoot; British Actors Thought The Filmmakers Were "F***king Retarded'

We went into an in-depth piece about the Q&A with filmmaker David Gordon Green about his upcoming throwback fantasy movie comedy, "Your Highness" which stars Danny McBride, Zooey Deschanel, Natalie Portman, James Franco, Justin Theroux and hits theaters October 1st via Universal.

Though Green said he was very excited to show the film to the world in October because it's "really insane," he also noted it was the most difficult film he's ever had to make.

While the film was scripted, like Green's "Pineapple Express," much of the film was improvised by McBride and Franco, who both worked on that Judd Apatow comedy. However, some took to this process well and others practically balked.

"Natalie Portman perfectly integrated into [this improved workflow] and loved it. It was like a playground for her," Green said, but laughed before recalling the difficulties some British actors had with these wild and free methods. "We had these amazing British thespians that has worked on the stage of London who thought we were fucking retarded. They were scratching their heads everyday thinking themselves, ‘Why did I agree to do this?’ Because it would be just like having them say foolish things as a twist for Danny to say something to change the middle of a scene. It was not what they signed up for."

Green noted that the British actors were frustrated and one of them even bailed in the middle of the scene when he had no clue what the actors were doing.

Film actress Natalie Portman has rapped about more than just her secret addiction to chocalate . The "New York I Love You' star revealed that she has been battling this addiction for years . She is just like any other woman in the world she loves her sweets but continues to worry over her weight and appearance.
